Well at my old store we used to, and we could cover refresher inclusions so the pieces don't get stuck together from sitting out as back ups, and we could also use them if we run out of lids for whips and accidentally made too many. But the store I'm at now doesn't have them. The pic is from my old store. 😂

Inclusion containers and whip canisters should all have lids to them. Though I’ve definitely had to temporarily use plastic wrap for inclusion containers while we waited on new lids.

the lids for inclusions aren’t at all airtight and they get sticky the longer they are exposed to air, so plastic wrap helps prevent sticky

Why do you use plastic wrap when making whips? Am I doing yet another thing wrong?
accountedthrowaway55 points11m ago
nah it’s just for making extra whips when you run out of tops but have more canisters left over

If a lid dies and gets thrown out or gets lost but the canister is kept then someone can easily end up making more canisters than they have lids for and people do this rather than dump it out& waste it. Nothing wrong with you if this hasn’t happened :)

I treat it like I'm baking : do I have everything or am I gonna start and then reach step 4 and discover I have no eggs!?
