I just say “I was only blessed with two hands! I’ll be with you in a minute!” You have to say with a smile on your face.

"Hi! I'll be right with you."

That's literally all you have to say.

This makes me irrationally pissed.

“Sorry, we don’t take orders at the bar. The register is over there.”

(if u haven’t already greeted them) Hi, welcome! I’ll be ready to take your order shortly, thank you so much for waiting :)

My coworkers have started cutting people off and telling them it'll be a minute, because they just don't listen

once had a guy walk up to the little glass separator behind the espresso machines and start ordering while i was clearly making a drink. there was someone at reg already who was taking someone else’s order. past me just dropped what i was doing to ring him up. present me would’ve told him to wait until the barista on reg finished ringing up the customer and to get in line. it still enrages me to this day. like i’m clearly not at reg. if you have to stand on your tiptoes to look at me over the separator and you see espresso machines and syrups, obviously you’re in the wrong place bud.
