I want to apply at Starbucks. Is it worth it, what’s the work experience like

I’m coming from working at trashy chipotle so I know how to work through horrible rushes and low staff and all that good stuff

My recommendation before you quit chipotle is sit and observe some of the surrounding stores in your area to see what one you like the most. Get some different drinks and talk to some of the baristas on how they like it there. They will be honest with you and it will give you a good idea on what store is best fit for you. Not every store is the same so it’s good to just check them out and get a feel for it.

Every service job is annoying. U will always have good and bad days

It has gotten significantly worse over the years. They are a lot more uptight about every little thing, they constantly shove their corporate culture into your ears, goodluck getting full time (which is 20 hours to these people) as they try to run every store on a skeleton crew spread out over just enough people to keep most of the workers off the best benefits and even if you do get those benefits, I'd like to remind you now that you will lose them all instantly if Starbucks feels like terminating you for whatever increasingly bs reasons it has nowadays.

Like others have said, service jobs have their ups and downs, but Starbucks is like the Mr. Bones Wild Ride of service jobs. You're stuck in and you want to get off

I think every job has its ups and downs but i just hope u have good coworkers that even tho the job is hard, the coworkers are not making it even more hard for u. goodluck!
