is anybody else's hands just absolutely ruined from working at starbucks? my hands were so soft before and now they're so rough and tight and im so so aware of it and it stresses me out. also if i stop moving them for a while they feel like they tighten and it strains to bend them.

When I get home the first thing is do is slather my hands in O’Keefe’s Working Hands Lotion. Then periodically use Gold Bond hand creme as well.

Use lotion not only at work, but outside work as well. You'll have to give your hands time to heal properly.

my hands are so dry too. i use a tiny bit of lotion while working, since it's gonna wash off eventually i use a little. maybe massaging your hands with a nice oil at home can help. i've bent my acrylics working, broke a nail, got cuts, and burns (not visible burns tho). oofies!

Mine haven’t stopped smelling like mocha since I started working here

I layer up - Kiehl's followed by L'Occitaine. Expensive, but so worth it. (the O'Keefe's is recommended by a lot of ppl, but it just doesn't work on me AT ALL)

I've had so many burns over the years from hot water spills and the oven, so my fingers are extra dry and irritated. It's hard to heal when you have to do closing tasks and dishes nearly every day
