i would call the store and ask to speak to the manager or supervisor on duty. say you are her boyfriend calling on her behalf, and explain theres been an emergency and that shes been admitted to the hospital and wont be able to come to work for a few days. you dont have to give more detail than that but i would hope they would hear “hospital” and “emergency” and not question any further. if they do just say you cant really give out details at the moment and you want to leave that up to her to disclose, this is just a courtesy call to let them know she will not be at work

i would contact the sm and say “hi my girlfriend is <name> and she is in the hospital and will be out for a few days. She’s unable to contact you personally due to the circumstances of her hospitalization but as soon as she is able she will reach out”.

Also, if you know her partner numbers you could possibly file a segdwick LOA on her behalf
