Because I'm in idiot and put cold milk. Then the wrong milk, then no fucking syrup.

Side note/question for anyone who reads this: at my store, once in a blue moon, we will get an order for the iced version of a london fog tea latte and same with an iced version of the royal english breakfast tea latte. Now whenever i get those, i always shake em up with the milk once the tea is done brewing. My coworker just puts the tea and milk in the cup with ice without shaking it. I just wana know which is the correct standard way so that i can fix it if im wrong

Ok good thank u! Like i said thats what i have been doing but one of my coworkers doesnt shake the iced tea lattes so it made me second guess myself. I bet the theory shes using is that 'u dont have to shake the hot one so why shake the iced one but u have to shake the iced one'. So ive never said anything to her about it cuz shes one of the ones in a clique with some other baristas and i dont talk to her cuz shes just got too much attitude

Ofc! Yeah one of my shift didn’t shake it so I was very confused. She is one of those people that is involved in little clicks and doesn’t like to be wrong. I’m so sorry she acts like that!

Yea there seems to be cliques at most Starbucks stores from what i hear but i also hear stories where people love their coworkers cuz theyre all nice and understanding and dont judge or act condescending. I wish i had those types of coworkers 😔. I can count on 1 hand how many nice coworkers i have

I feel ya. The other day someone ordered a caramel crunch frap with almond milk no whip. Did it with whole milk, then remade with almond but added whip, had to remake a third time! I call it barista brain fog lol. Happens to the best of us 😂

This is my fav hot drink. I tried ordering it cold once and the barista asked me how to make it. I didn’t know and the barista asked the others and they made it. It wasn’t good but I felt bad for telling them so I left
