Thank yooouuuuuuu! Also, complaining about other people complaining is so fucking annoying..like just stop trying to control people. I complain on here then i dont have to do it work and bring my coworkers down.

I remember seeing someone complain abt baristas complaining and talked abt “I used to cook bacon at work and would get burned, but I never complained” as if we don’t have ovens and burn ourselves with hot water😭

Listen $15 a hour ain’t enough to stop me from complaining about work. I even like my job most days but I’m sure as hell gonna find something to complain about. Customer/food service is a thankless job so im gonna commiserate about the terrible playlists, rude customers, food burns & inconsistent hours to my coworkers on the clock. It’s part of how you stay sane as a starbies employee.

Everyone complains about their job, even the people who get coffee at the store complains about their job. So why can’t we? So not only that customers (they only exist in Starbucks and not other coffee shops) can treat us like shit, we can’t complain either? Now that’s too much of sense of entitlement.

it’s so annoying on tiktok specifically bc if you comment on something on that app it tells them you want to see more and they show you more vids like it. so by commenting on a barista’s harmless video about their bad day, they’re setting themself up to see MORE vids like it when they could easily press the “not interested” button, or block the barista and never have to see it again

those same baristas are the ones posting these crazy frappucinos encouraging people to order them. it makes us look lazy and makes it look like all we do is make up drinks all day. these people usually work at extremely slow stores or licensed stores so they have the time to create these videos… i’m so tired of tiktok baristas

i just hate how it’s literally only a problem when WE do it. there are tons of customer service workers complaining about jobs that they also “signed up to do” but no one gets on their ass half as much as starbucks workers i don’t understand
