Baking with Vanilla Bean Powder(self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by coupsvila
Our VBP expired last night so I decided to bring some home so I could bake with it, but I have no ideas of what to make.
If anyone has ever baked with it, or has any ideas for what I could do with it, please let me know!

Any expired product I get from work I put into homemade ice cream. So far I’ve made caramel brûlée, Irish cream, chocolate malt, and matcha. I substitute any sugars I have in the recipe for the powder/syrup, that way it’s not too sweet by the end of it. I’d imagine any recipe that you’d use real vanilla bean and sugar in, you can substitute the vanilla bean powder for.

I don't bake all that much, but maybe with any sort of recipe that calls for cocoa, swap it out with the VBP? That's the only think I can remotely think of.

Our vbp is pretty sweet. So I would sub it for sugar.
