Lol when I first started at Starbucks a little over 2 years ago, there was this one lady that came to the register and she ordered some type of modified Frappuccino and it was a venti and she asked for it to be in a train to cup and I didn't realize that we're not supposed to do that since I was new so in the "ask me" option, i typed in "in trenta cup" and then she went over to the hand off area to wait for her order and she asked the Barista on bar if the Barista can add one or two shots of espresso to her Frappuccino. I forget if the Barista did that or not but when the customer left, my shirt supervisor told me that this specific lady does that from time to time where she tries to get a Venti Frappuccino put into a Trenta cup and then asks for extra shots when waiting for her drink🤦♀️

If its an iced drink, i would maliciously comply to these types of situations by dumping the drink in a venti and packing it with more ice. I mean like for the people who know exactly what was said during the transaction such as "grande"
One time I had a teenage girl order a strawberry refresher at the register and she said Grande strawberry refresher and then I repeated the order back to her cuz I normally do that when I take people's orders and she agreed to everything and at the handoff, she said it was supposed to be a lemonade refresher and it was supposed to be a venti....😑

Yea like at that point they're not even trying hard to hide the fact that they're trying to get more products. Like she clearly said Grande and then I said Grande back to her when I repeated the order and then I said refresher and she also said refresher and didn't mention lemonade so like I don't understand where the lemonade came out of when I handed it to her at the handoff area. Obviously she was trying to get a bigger size and with lemonade😑 like if u dont wana pay for what u actually want, then go to wawa or dunkin or get something else and actually pay for what u want

If they’re rude I make them pay for it. Or if I see them switching up (the milk) last minute and I alrdy finish making the drink I make them pay for it.

Yeah had someone here ask why I care and that we ain’t the police on remakes. She said she would be happy to remake and let them keep whatever the old drink was. I said to her wow I wish all ur customers ask for a remake on her shift when she’s on bar.

It just annoys me bc customers don’t see us as people, they see us as tools to manipulate Starbucks’ make it right bullshit. Like I am a person too and ur wasting my time. So tired of people acting like they can treat others differently 🤭🤭
