I get 7 free drinks a week, no? Well, you dug that hole and if I want to give it to a friend you're gonna have to lie in it. Fuck you <3

You can drink as much as you want while working.
starboienby 12 points 11m ago
our sm said we have a limit 🥲 one before work, one on break, one on lunch break, and one after work. but we have sl who thankfully let us make as many as we want while working, especially when it gets all watered down.
evilash85 14 points 11m ago
As long as you mark it out , you can drink as much as you want.
Flowerfuls 1 points 11m ago
Standard is one per break. Most just don’t enforce. Sounds like they got unlucky with one that does :(
FLMFGGT 11 points 11m ago
Why stop at 7!! We’re just slaves to them anyways!
Toal_ngCe [OP] -19 points 11m ago
Bc 7 is the number I'm allowed to mark out by the system.
Viapache 18 points 11m ago
7 foods, unlimited drink limited to 30 minutes +- your dhift
Toal_ngCe [OP] -8 points 11m ago
Tf when did they change it? I was told 7 drinks 7 food items per week
DishonestHorse 4 points 11m ago
Are you in a licensed store??
Viapache 2 points 11m ago
Idk I just got hired a few weeks ago in LA it might be different from you, but that’s why I’ve been told is standard. Like if I work two shifts a week I can walk away from the second shift with 6 food items OR go to the store when I’m not working and pick up a food. BUT I can’t have free drinks when I’m now working.
LY-_- 8 points 11m ago
I am from a corporate location our sm says it’s 7 free food items a weeks. Unlimited drinks on shift but you have to finish the first one. 1 30min before and after. Drinks technically are only supposed to be ordered on break. We have a sign in our stores that says unlimited free drinks on shift that our dm and ppl from corporate saw, also I am pretty sure on the ads for us hiring it says unlimited drinks as well.

Istg I was originally told 7 each /wk :/
fuwaldah 6 points 11m ago
You were misinformed.
awesomechief989 1 points 11m ago
Yes some sm are pricks. 7 a week for food, unlimited drinks during your shift. And 30before & after. Idk if it’s limited to one drink but I go by when I can’t drink my last drink. But I will mark out a few sometimes haha
ArialynnSilver 3 points 11m ago
What I do is I'll order a drink for my spouse, take a drink from it and then give it to her because then I've technically bought it for myself
fuwaldah 3 points 11m ago
You have basically unlimited drinks while you are working. You can't share them however.
im_feeling_cold 3 points 11m ago
there’s this misconception that’s been going around the newer partners at my store too. idk where they heard it from?? i always tell my baristas they can have as many drinks as they want as long as they mark it out. that’s what i was told when i was hired years ago, and no one has told me any differently since then.
Allopathological 2 points 11m ago
Big facts. When I worked there I would ring my friends drinks up for free using my credit and my shift would get pissy about it. Like bro you said I get one free drink and one free food item a shift. I already have a hydro flask full of water so what does it matter who consumes MY free drink.
Flowerfuls 4 points 11m ago
It’s a fireable offense technically. Your shift letting it slide can be held responsible for doing so probably why they’re upset. As an SSV I can’t tell people the rule but then not enforce it. Makes zero sense and isn’t fair to anyone. So I uphold the rule for everyone.
fuwaldah -1 points 11m ago
That's called stealing.
piratedashel 2 points 11m ago
Idk why this is downvoted. I literally had a shift fired for doing this.
fuwaldah 1 points 11m ago
People get fired for this all the time.

Ringing up my one allotted free drink per day and then giving it to a friend who came in is stealing? How tf is that stealing I get one free drink a day that drink is mine I can give it to whoever I want, I can drink it myself, I can even throw it out.
fuwaldah 2 points 11m ago
> Ringing up my one allotted free drink per day and then giving it to a friend who came in is stealing?

According to the company you work for, yes.

> I get one free drink a day that drink is mine I can give it to whoever I want

When you were hired you literally signed an agreement saying you can't do that.

Look... I'm not saying giving out partners drinks is morally wrong. I'm saying it's considered stealing and you can be separated for that.
