Honestly, mine is probably gonna go down 😂. Stepped down from supervisor to barista over a month ago but it looks like my pay rate was never adjusted. Actually, it probably won’t go down, it’s probably just gonna basically stay about the same as where it is now.

That happened to my coworker too. She demoted herself from a supervisor to a barista and she’s still getting paid as if she was a supervisor.

If your a corporate store I believe all locations are getting the raise. Not so sure on each individual retail!

Havent gotten it yet….but I was told new standard would require us to all work a minimum number of hours to stay with the company starting in like November

Ok , then it does depend on the location.
I am bringing thisup not to be a downer or to rub anything in. I am giving you a hint of what happened to me and my former partners when we heard about our raises being moved to $15 an hour. When the raise kicked in, our hours were dropped. Our SM was made aware of our concerns, but nothing changed.
I am rooting for you and everyone else who's getting the raise. I also hope that your SM keeps the hours steady and that Starbucks makes the minimum hours reasonable (especially for those who need a certain amount of hours to be met for health insurance).

Of course and thank you for letting me know ! 🥹 I got a bit worried that I may have came off like those people who brag. And yes basically that was the situation at my store, I can even recall how like at that point no one wanted to give up their shifts because they know they be really short if they give up one day ( or begging the sm to not send us home early just cuz it's a slow day).
Again, that maybe only my store and my district (and also the amount partners in each store because the starbucks at my district would be fully staffed). So those who are reading this that just got here do not be scared but also chat with your SM one on one on how it would look moving forward so you know what to expect. 😁
