a few things,
i sincerely hope this ssv didn't make a racist comment and am sorry that you potentially have to work with someone who did.
if you didn't hear them say it there's a chance it'll get swept under the rug as hearsay/gossip
was the severity of the comment enough to have a solid case to bring to higher ups if your sm doesn't do anything? would the partners who were there support you?

If you’re certain of what they said, you can contact partner resources if you don’t feel comfortable discussing with your store manager.
In this case, you do need to express that you think the manager may try to deflect the situation, but it made you extremely uncomfortable. You may want to also request that your info is not passed along with this report. The manager should get the report from partner resources and address directly with the SSV. If it happens again, report it as many times as you need to.
