is anyone else’s store music really repetitive? (self.starbucksbaristas)

My boyfriend and I both work for the bux and I was complaining about the same five songs coming on 10+ times in one shift, day after day. He said “yeah, New Song by Maggie Rogers,” and then we named a bunch of other ones that we’ve both been hearing all the time lately.
Anyone else hearing the Gillian welch song?Shut Up Kiss Me? Amoeba by Clairo? Human Behavior by Bjork?
There are others but I always forget to check the iPad. No matter what playlist we choose it always reverts back to these repeats after two or three songs. It’s driving me crazy.

Same here. We’ll switch to the store favorites playlist but it just switches back to the maggie rodgers playlist by itself. I’m not complaining about shut up kiss me though i love angel olsen

Or you choose a playlist and it plays like 2 songs from that playlist and then switches back to the same 10 songs???

oh my god. i can't believe other stores are having this problem. it's ALWAYS new song. always. i hear it at least 5 times in a 6-8 hour shift. holy fuck. i can't stand it anymore and if we switch the playlist it switches back almost immediately??? i can't get away from new song

it drives my store crazy how they just keep going "I don't mind it" for so long at the end of the song.
after it plays we all just keep telling each other, "hey, by the way I don't mind it" or asking each other "do you mind it?"

this happened at my store once and our music was offline. I had no idea that could happen until a tech randomly called and told me how to fix it 👀 we had been listening to the same 5 songs for months
