i need to know who started this fandom about an iced white mocha with vanilla sweet cream cold foam and extra caramel drizzle. i had over 20 people order it in my 5 hour shift today...thats like the most basic white girl drink ever 💀

I think the tiktok this originated in is from early 2021 and it comes back in waves. It's been one of the most popular drinks at my location for all of 2022.

This, but a bit earlier than that, maybe fall of 2020. During the first wave I was at a college town bux with LOTS of sorority girl regular. We ran out of every single component of the drink, totally out of vanilla, white mocha, heavy cream, and drizzle. It was worse than the first TikTok drink that was just a blended refresher with all the berries

Bruh I was about to say, my first taste of the popularity of TikTok drinks was this drink and I'm not gonna lie, whenever I see a girl and she starts off with Ice white mocha, I just add the companies components automatically and ask if I got it right. 9/10 times they stand there shocked that I was able to guess it

Except -NOW- they want it “made with Oatmilk”.
Which -I- personally think is worse, and for which I would willingly, and happily, punch every customer who orders non-dairy milk and then adds VSCCF directly in the nose.
And it’s ALWAYS IN VENTI.

When I hear "can I get a iced white mocha..." My finger is already hovering over the sweet cream cold foam. There was a time before the recent updates where vanilla sweet foam was under caramel drizzle (or other way around) it made my life easier since 7/10 times people got the tiktok drink.

I still say they should charge more for vsccf than vsc, AND they should charge an extra dollar if you want to combine cold foams with milk alternatives.
Because if they’re doing it for the flex (which, invariably they are) then the least they could do is donate that extra dollar to the cup fund for the baristas. Our mental health suffers on the daily for this nonsense.

I know there is, I am a barista lol but there is also heavy cream, vanilla and chocolate malt powder in the foam and the chocolate taste overpowers everything else. I also don't have dairy issues, I just prefer the taste of oatmilk ... and since the drink is mostly milk ... 🤷♀️
