Less drink… more whip…

Had a customer that would always complain she got less drink when she ordered extra whip... Sorry WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO PUT IT?

customer a couple days ago wanted extra whip on venti mf. she did NOT want us to pour any less of the drink. she did NOT want the extra whip on the side. she did NOT want her drink without a lid. she just wanted extra whipped cream….. (what she wanted was the standard amount)

Idk usually I just put more whip in after I have put the lid on and really pack the dome lid but I don't think that's an official method

If they order the biggest size then yes, less drink. If they order a size or two down then at my store we upside the cup, keep the measurements the same for the size they ordered and just add whip to the top. We do the same for people who order coffee with extra room or Americanos with extra room.

Edit: if its a frap we will add whip at the bottom too if the frap calls for that or hopefully whoever takes the order can ask and clarify but with mobiles or people who "don't know" just wing it

Fill the the dome lid. Standard whip isn't supposed to touch the lid at all.

if it’s a frap, i put it at the bottom of the cup. if it’s a latte/iced drink, i just leave about half and inch of room in the cup and fill it completely with a dome lid

Often I’ll suggest people buy a smaller drink to make room for the whip, especially if they ask for a caramel ribbon crunch with extra extra whip

Extra of wherever it would go on the drink - unless they ask for something else, or it’s the frap that comes with top and bottom whip I’ll put extra in both places. We had a regular, super nice person, get a hot grande WCM in a venti cup no lid made with heavy cream, and extra whip but filled to the top extra whip in the 4oz of space plus coming out of the top like a Frappuccino. They told me one day “I don’t drink, don’t smoke, don’t eat too bad and work 12+ hours a day this is my one treat and I love it!” It looked like a straight heart attack to me but it made them happy.

When i worked at a slower store, had more time and cared alot more I'd put the drink in the next size up then fill the rest with whip

I do light ice when they want extra whip and leave some extra room in the cup or hold off on a little bit of whip/milk (only like half an inch)

if its a frap i do whip on bottom + top. for regular drinks yeah just leave a lil space inside the cup and fill it the way u do a hot drink and then the dome lid too

I tend to leave a tiny bit of extra space so I can get a really nice full swirl. I feel like half the time, the standard amount can be really sad, depending on your barista and the whip canister so I just make sure that dome lid looks really full

for frapps i put it on the bottom and the top, unless it’s a crunch frap in that case the drink is 70% whip. regular hot and cold drinks i just leave like an extra inch on top

less drink more whip or….. grande in a venti extra whip or…….trenta extra whip (flat lid for a frap: obviously not standard)

If it’s a Frappuccino I layer it in 3. A lot of customers like it like that.
