today this man ordered a mobile order and i guess he got sf vanilla and as me and my ssv turn around to talk to each other, this man comes over , REACHES over to our syrups and starts grabbing them. i swear my body froze out of shock. my ssv swipes his hand away and is like “sir please don’t do that..” then the dude was like “i just wanted to see the calories! 😁” and then walks away. why do people think it’s okay 😭😭😭

another classic representation of people FAILING TO JUST SIMPLY ASK. I’ve had customers ask to see whats in our syrups no problem, like, it’s not a bad thing. But like, being grabby?😭

People are constantly trying to grab our straws from behind the glass simply because they can see them even tho there’s usually a barista RIGHT THERE. Like honestly dude? Just ask

Lmao some guy reached his arm around this little counter by the hand off area and reached his arm out and around the corner of the counter wall thing and grabbed our jug of half and half and just started pouring it in his hot coffee. Lmao i was literally frozen staring at him and no words could come out. People think speaking to others is weird.
Before starbucks, i worked at AC Moore arts n crafts before the company shut all stores. But sometimes i would be in the aisles and I would be stocking something on the shelves and I wouldn't even be looking down either end of the aisle and sometimes customers but come into the aisle and start asking a question right off the bat before I even try to get my attention. They would be like "do u kno where the batteries are?" And sometimes i would not kno theyre talkin to me and assume theyre talking to another employee nearby who is already looking at them. But nope...they were talking to me. I would appreciate an "excuse me" or "hello" before the question. Nobody likes to speak to anybody anymore or use their voice
