When we have received uber eats orders at my store for confusing things such as this, my manager has went on the uber eats little tablet and got the customers number and called them to inquire wtf it is that theyre talking about lol. But me personally, i would do what the other commenter has stated which is package it up as is and send it on its way and maybe they will see the error of their ways

I was filling in at a store once and got a delivery order for a Venti iced mocha in a grande cup. I was like… how do I do this…? They said they always just give them a Venti but I was like. No. They want it in a grande cup. We’ll give it to them in a grande cup. Made the Venti with all those measurements, before I put ice in it I dumped it into a grande cup to the ice line, then finished the drink off and dumped what was left in the Venti cup :) I found the picture of it the other day 😅

Lol i have also had that happen! We had a delivery order for a Trenta iced tea in a venti cup but we just put it in the Trenta cup and we never got a complaint or anything like they never called the store so they probably just realized their mistake after it got delivered to them. But I don't know I mean they're paying for the bigger size so I feel like even if they thought by choosing the size right under it that it would change the size that they're paying for, I still gave it to them for what they paid for and then they could just throw out the rest if they want or save it or something

Yeah idk man. When I asked how to make it I expected them to be as confused as me but they were like “nah she orders that all the time. We just give her the Venti” so I was like ok let’s show her how dumb her weekly order is then. I was only at that store for a few days so idk if she ever ordered it again

Lol she probably realized the error of her ways by looking at the sticker and looking at her cup size 😄 but then again I know that customers don't read the stickers on the cups because this lady came into my store today and picked up her mobile order and she just grabbed a drink that was sitting at the mobile pick up area and she didn't even tell me what the drink was or what her name was but she said "oh my drink was supposed to have extra foam on it" ..... then I look at the cup that she's holding which the sticker is actually facing her but I read it and I told her that it doesn't say it on the sticker because the drink was a venti ice chai tea latte with almond milk and Light Ice. And then she looks at the sticker and goes "oh my gosh this is not even mine!"...... then she ended up seeing her drink which was already sitting at the mobile pick up area also and her drink was a grande. But when I grabbed the cup from her hands to read it and I told her that it was a venti ice chai tea latte with almond milk and Light Ice, she then looked at the cup to then say that oh my gosh it's not mine but then if you didn't even read the sticker to begin with, then why would you pick it up thinking it's yours? Also you got a grande iced drink. The drink you picked up was a venti iced drink. Like I just don't understand

we got an order for a MCCF with no ice the other day, i told the barista to put everything in except the ice and blend it, whip it, and put it in the cup. it was a venti and half empty

I’m really hoping they wanted to blend it at home but even then… I get it that we’d think they’re a pain but if you’re making it at home at least call and say whip on the side if you really want whip, or “no whip”

yeah idk. the barista that made it even put the whip that comes standard on the bottom and it was just floating in there 😭 and honestly if they wanted to blend it at home i would have happily given them a cup full of all the ingredients not blended

this makes me wonder if they know they got a frappuccino. there’s one guy who comes to my store all the time and asks for a frappuccino “iced” and we have to remind him that it’s frozen and blended.

This reminds me of a customer at my first store in 2014 who insisted she get no ice in her Frappuccino, but didn’t want extra milk either, and couldn’t understand why what I kept giving her was “so liquidy.” ?????
I had to explain to her MULTIPLE TIMES that the ice was what gave the Frappuccino it’s body and texture, and that without the ice, it was only liquid going into the blender. I further had to break it down for her that, if I’m putting only liquids in a blender, they will come out as liquids as well, and that I couldn’t bend the law of physics to magically put texture and body into her drink that was in a liquid state.
You may think she was trolling me but this lady was just extra special 🫠

I had a person mobile a frap like this with no ice, and when she showed up I explained that the cup would be 3/4 empty and it would just be syrup and a bit of milk at the bottom of the cup. She apologized and said her son had placed the mobile and he didn’t know what he was clicking so to just make it regularly. This person could’ve just not known what they were selecting and just ordered like that!
