So theyre still getting that with whipped cream i suppose? I hate putting whipped cream on drinks with no ice because it just plops over. And even if u try putting the whipped cream in thru the dome lid hole once its snapped on, its still a pain in the ass lol
But also this person got a venti and asked for it to be put in a trenta cup with no ice and filled with oatmilk to the top? Why do people go nuts over a few extra sips of milk? Its just milk. At my store tho, we are definitely not allowed to put espresso drinks in trenta cups

that is the starbucks policy. unless this is a licensed store and they genuinely didn’t get the training, they should’ve also said no

Ok yea i wasnt sure of the specifics on it policy-wise but yea i only had maybe 2 or 3 people out of my 2 and a half years ask me if i can put their espresso drink in a trenta cup and i have said no in all instances. Its just crazy tho that they want it in the trenta cup with no ice and also filled with extra oat til it reaches the top of the cup. People are constantly trying to get drinks that they dont wana pay for.

This was someone’s “ birthday “ drink and my SSV just told me to make it so he can “get out the store”, not to mention this was during peak and I’m in a crazy busy location

Are u at a tarbucks or another licensed location? Cuz idk if their rules are different than corporate stores but i just know for us, were not allowed to. But idk i mean my SSVs have always told me not to do it. People have definitely tried tho lol but to no avail. I don't think the SSVs or manager at my store would have allowed it even if it was for a birthday drink. Also trenta cups are becoming harder to come by for my store so we have been asked to only give people cups of ice/water in tall or grande cups

I mean you are supposed to make it right aka bend over for the customer. Our old dm made us do things like that all the time cuz she didnt wanna hear about it. Personally i dont care enough to argue unless you treatvme like shit.

Well at my store were just not allowed to put espresso drinks in trenta cups for customers. There are alot of things we do to "make the moment right" but thats not one of em

Personally putting whip cream through the hole of a lid is a lazy tactic. I never do it and wouldn't recommend it.

the only time we let this slide at my drive thru was when they would get extra ice but this person wants no ice so… lmao maybe the person at POS thought it wasn’t worth their peace to tell them no so they just gave them what they wanted 😭

Illegal drink. Even if I bent the rules for this ass, they'd still be charged a dairy charge for the extra oat milk I would be using, on top of the oat milk charge. But they honestly would be getting it in a Venti. No Trenta iced latte for you!

For a birthday drink, I’d do whatever they wanted. For a normal person on a normal day, I would do a dairy charge for the extra milk.
We add shots to trenta cold brews all the time, so I’m not sure why everyone is saying it’s a huge deal not to put espresso in trenta cups. We don’t make trenta lattes, which is what this essentially is, but it isn’t the espresso that’s the difference, it’s the fact that it’s mostly milk. You can’t ring in a trenta cup of milk, either, but you can add espresso shots to trenta drinks.
Again, this is a one-off birthday drink and I would definitely do it, but if somebody tried this normally I would probably just make them buy a tall milk and they can do what they want with their two drinks.

it's against standard either way, if we can't ring it up i ain't selling it. even if they're not getting more drink i think the issue is when you let people do things against standard it sets a precedent and causes them to get angry when other stores following standards won't let them do the same way cuz the other starbucks lets them get it in a trenta cup.
