So I know it use to be cone filter for the grind and then you would pour the water over the grounds continuously until the grounds were covered and the water is gone.

Is the new way still cone grind but you cover the grounds evenly, then wait 5 - 15 seconds then finish pouring the rest of the water in the same way?

wait i was always told the second way is proper? doesn’t the coffee need time to bloom?

Yeah that’s what I’m getting at, you answered my question.

It use to be different there wasn’t a blooming process. The second way is the correct way I was just making sure.
