0. Idk care how hot you are… if you can’t understand that something takes more than two seconds to prepare then you’re stupid and annoying
Victoriamarie03 23 points 11m ago
Negative even.

im at work and someone said their drink at the drive thru. then when they got to the window they JUST placed the order in the app and it was a different drink than the one they said. starbies customers can really be a different level of stupid

Their a 10 but when you hand them their drink on bar they say “and I had a *insert food item*” and you have to explain that you are only making drinks not food
Malfinhouse 6 points 11m ago
Ngl you should def be placing a ticket behind the counter and putting all items there and then giving to the customer or you have this exact scenario and customers hovering for their food after they have their drink. Definitely a your store issue.
thatbarista05 3 points 11m ago
My sm won’t let us do that because “people don’t like waiting for their drinks”
Malfinhouse 0 points 11m ago
So you respond, “but they like to wait for food instead”? They are a store manager. Not a god.

Alternatively, keep getting berated by customers. Like I understand and feel for you but the reality is like I posted above. I’d rather my SM occasionally get on my case for them waiting for a drink than the 10 customers who are assuredly badgering me about waiting for their food each day. Kind of a lesser of two evils

You're starting to make too much sense for the barussy
bug_eyes330 33 points 11m ago
-100000 sometime last week we had probably 5 or 6 people in a row do this
spacepoptartz 31 points 11m ago
My favorite is when they are mad it’s not ready, but we never got an order because it turns out they forgot to send the order all the way through in the app when we ask them to check it
Mewlover23 24 points 11m ago
At speaker: "Hello, I placed a mobile order to pick up"

Sticker is literally printing out as they say those words. And it's a 12 item mobile.

He’s a 10 but orders 8 fraps in the drive through during peak, all are different kinds of fraps
DuctTapeDildo 10 points 11m ago

I’ve never worked in the food industry but I always do mobile orders because mostly I prefer to enjoy my stuff at home but I’m also shy when ordering. I feel bad for the baristas and other workers who apologize profusely if they know I’m waiting for my mobile order. Every time I tell ‘em, “Don’t worry, I’m patient and I know you get busy. Do your thing.” Sorry you gotta go through that, people aren’t great at using their brains.
ddebdesdemonaa 2 points 11m ago
I’m sorry but no.

Just got mobile ordering and we are still in a place where we have the pre-closer leaving at 4 and we are open to 8. I just got things organized so I could sit down (at our tables because I was alone and we aren't allowed to leave the kiosk completely) at 6:30 or so. Teenagers came in and looked around and went, "excuse me, where is the Starbucks person?" Rudely, may I add. I had already seen them approaching so I was on my way over to check on them anyway, no need to be rude about it. There was a mobile order, I assumed they wanted to order and I would then have them and the mobile, nope theirs was the mobile order. (May I add that I HATE mobile orders don't make a sound? I can be caught doing dishes, making coffee, doing anything at all and not be aware a mobile has come through. Stupidest thing ever.) So I checked, just wanted to know if I had missed it when clearing the kiosk so I could take my break. Nope, it came though at 6:33. Three minutes to sit down. Made the orders, then of course got a line. Finally got to take my break at around 7. Close at 8. So happy I was able to get a comfortable break, right? There are many things I do not appreciate about mobile ordering and how they have rolled it out.

had a regular do this EVERYDAY. she would get to the box and start placing her order on her phone and expect it to be done by the window. we would pull all our stickers out just to find hers and make it so it would be ready. like at that point just order at the box..?
