I hate working at a 24/7 store. It’s always busy. No one get enough hours and the manager will not close the lobby or drive thru no matter how many people call out. We only have 2 over night shifts and if they call out we’re screwed.

I can’t imagine working at an overnight store. My store closes at 9:00 PM and we could probably stay open later but…that would not be fun.
Ask your SM work the overnight shift once a week just to make sure they understand the needs of the store. Push the SM until they either admit that an overnight shift is so undesirable that even they won’t work it or until they cave in and you get to prove just how undesirable it really is.

How is it overnight? Like let’s say at 3 AM? Is it usually busy at that time? That’s crazy to think man.
