i was hired a shift in may, and I have recently just stepped down as ssv to become just a barista.
i work in a downtown core at an extremely high incident location. any tips for what to expect as just a barista? i’m nervous.

I was a barista, promoted to shift, self demoted and re promoted lol. My Starbucks roller coaster. It’s chill after demoting, just sucks knowing the checks won’t be as nice.

all the same things as a shift but less responsibility, you can ask a shift for help if a situation needs deescalating rather than being the person who has to deal! you’ll also get a lot more bar time
