I’d rather have affogato shots though because those I can make the frap and then get the shot(s) while the frap is blending, rather than have to get the shot before I can move on with the frap.

this. our manager is very particular about the frappe standards when it comes with an extra shot. you wait for the shot to pull and add it to the cup and THEN build the frappe. she will make you start over if you start to put syrups or ice or anything in the blender without the proper shots, frap roast and milk. it does make for a better frappe and it is the standard but bruhhhh does it slow it down when i’m almost done w the frap and then they add 2 shots last minute.

I’ll get the blender ready with the syrup/base/ice, but I make sure I do the shot(s), frap roast, and milk in the cup because I can’t eyeball it and like knowing that it will come out right, so I get that part. I don’t see the difference in putting the milk/shots/frap roast in the blender first, it’s a blender it all gets blended together.

I work closing shifts from 3 to 10:30 and usually I end up on solo bar, or doing both bar and drive thru as well as closing tasks. We tend to be understaffed after 4 pm and I am good enough at multi-tasking that I can basically run the floor by myself if I have to.

No clue, honestly. I've been working for Starbucks since 2019. I'm going to apply for shift since several shift managers have told me I'm good enough to be promoted. I have a feeling I haven't been promoted due to favoritism, I don't suck up to management and I don't suck up to customers. I'm probably a little too straightforward for their taste. I also got hospitalized involuntarily for two weeks for a mental health crisis and I wonder if that played a part.

So we just had issues with our mastrenas & the tech said we’re seeing that message because ppl don’t actually empty the grounds drawer but pull it out and then push it back in. Not sure if there are other reasons for this message though.
