so I have been wanting to be a barista at starbucks since I can remember and I almost gave up on it until I got offered an interview and then a job immediately after. I’ve noticed it’s a little overwhelming so I was wondering if anyone had any tips and tricks that a beginner should know when it comes to anything at starbs? HELP

I'll start by saying that this job has a huge learning curve and feeling overwhelmed in the beginning is a normal feeling. Your fellow partners should know this and you should definitely use them as a resource while you're still learning. You should never be afraid to ask questions on things you don't know.

Eventually, as you pick up on things my advice is to steer towards confirmation style questions on things you have some familiarity with. For example, "This drink comes with X number of shots, right" or "This drink comes with X syrup, right?". This way you can show both yourself and your partners how you are growing :)

As a fellow newb, I recommend taking your time at first. Speed will come later with practice but don’t go too fast at first because mistakes will happen. And be patient with yourself :)
