Can I appeal being fired 10 months later? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I was fired in October 2021 due to me sometimes calling out sick last minute, or sometimes forgetting I even had a shift that day due to being pregnant. Sometimes I’d also just feel so sick during a shift I’d be sent home early, or told to sit for awhile.
My manager at the time wasn’t very understanding at all. She’d get visibly annoyed that I had to sit all the time, or even be annoyed for needing a 10 to eat (seriously?? 😒).
My son is now almost 5 months old. I’m basically a single mom, going to move to another state to live with my brother and his fiancé and their daughter. My brother is a SSV for Starbucks where he lives and he’s trying to help me appeal.
My question is, has anybody appealed being fired? What were the circumstances? Or do you think they’ll even do it?

You can certainly try, but it's highly unlikely.

I often find good advice for former corporate baristas who want to return whatever the circumstances is to find a good licensed store like target, bakers or similar

I actually am currently working in a licensed store but once I move out of state they don’t have this grocery store where I’m moving to. Maybe there’s more licensed stores there, hopefully.

There are usually many whether local or national chains. Hotels are also a great option for licensed stores!

True I never considered a hotel licensed store. Thanks, I’ll have to look into that :)
