I dont know if there’s a standard but we always steam a short amount of the milk and steep the oatmeal with that instead of water

tbh, better safe than sorry. Not too hard to confirm,

“Did you want that milk steamed or cold?”
“Did you want it on the side?”

If they mobile, wait till they come in and double check. If it’s delivery, I would steam it and put it on the side because otherwise they’re getting soggy oatmeal with how long deliveries sit.

if they wanted milk we steamed it always, cold milk doesn’t cook the oats. If they want to add milk in addition water I’d ask how they want it but literally no one asked me ever. If they said milk they got steamed and I never heard more.

I will look into the resources on the Partner hub later but as far as I know there is no standard. I'd definitely say you should steam it, but if people mobile order it, I normally wait for them to get there and then I ask them what they wanted

When my store gets orders like that through mobile or uber, we make it mostly with hot water, swirl, then add a little cold milk to the top.

we normally put half hot water to get it cooking... it doesn't say "no water" on there.

We only have one customer get milk and she asls for a tablespoon of steamed 2% poured overtop each time
And if we do too much or too less she comes inside the next day and yells at about how can it be to pour milk

We only use hot water with ours , because milk in oatmeal if not requested doesn’t sound right .

This is a really good question! I didn’t know people could order oatmeal with milk on Uber! Hmm. I’d say because it just says oat milk 1/2” that it would be cold oat added to the hot water. I’m sure this info is on partner hub
