Brown sugar syrup bottle is actually apple brown sugar syrup???? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Past few days I've been making my regular brown sugar shaken espresso, and when I go to drink it I've been noticing a weird flavor. I brushed it off again and again thinking maybe it's just my taste acting weird, but just today one of my coworkers tasted the brown sugar and said straight up that it's apple brown sugar. After he mentioned that other partners commented they've noticed the weird taste. We tested the syrup by itself, we are pretty much 100% certain it's apple, it's literally identical. It's just in a regular brown sugar syrup bottle. So we've been handing out apple brown sugar shaken espressos before fall launch and unknowingly lying to customers???? is anyone else experiencing this or have this problem??? I'm thinking a mix-up happened in production and maybe it's just my district idk but starbucks needs to get itself together smh they've really been slacking with quality lately.
