I have almost no patience when there are snarky customers with sarcastic ass comments. Like I simply feel like I’m losing it here, really. This job has brought the worst of me recently. So much stress. Shitty manager who literally is never at the store, understaffed. And SM suggested to my ssv that I should maybe be written up for using a sick day bc I didn’t have childcare meanwhile he NEVER shows up. we have a sexual harasser who has multiple accusations and proof of his harassment and he still works there, always late. Hasn’t been written up. Like I’m SICK of this. Told my regional manager and didn’t Give a fk… said it miscommunication between me and my manager…… the store is quite literally falling apart and I just hate it here.

There’s a light at the end of the tunnel. Contact your DM; compile a list of all the things your manager has/has not done. Have other partners/SSV corroborate your claims, or even contact the DM themselves.

If ya’ll are understaffed, sales are probably being affected. If sales are being affected -and- you have partners at your store sending your DM emails about how trash your manager is, there’s a strong likelihood your DM will come in for a visit.

I was in a similar situation with a profoundly terrible SM. We all reported him to our DM; the DM had a sit down with all the SSV’s and the SM to “sort things out”.

We laid our grievances with our SM(the biggest was him being a compulsive liar); SM literally cries in front of the DM; DM says that “moving forward, contact me if problems consist”.

They did.

About 2 months later, DM comes in and talks to SM; SM posts on bulletin board that he’s resigning the same day.

It took about 3 months in total for our manager to get coerced into resigning but he finally did — and it’s all in thanks to people communicating with their DM.
