the half and half seems so unnecessary to me like….. did they not know what they were ordering

I mean to be fair brown sugar is half pumps so it’s *only* 11, which is still a lot but still not 22.

My question has always been what is the number of pumps someone can ask for that we say no? Like, sure if they order hundreds or thousands we’d tell them to be reasonable. But what’s the point at which we can start saying that? It’s apparently higher than 22.

All I hear in my head when I read this is “well, they’re half pumps so it’s okay” to quote one of my former green beans when she rang herself up something that looked eerily similar to this

Jfc. I like my coffee what most *actual* coffee drinkers would consider “unreasonably sweet” (ie if I got the drink above I would probably order it with 6 ristretto shots and 8 brown sugar (8 full pumps, or equivalent half pumps) 4 vanilla - strong, but very sweet).

At first I’d question the decision of the amount when I used to work at Starbucks, however I noticed that a lot of these type of orders started showing up when Covid came. So there’s a chance that some of these customers still can’t really taste much yet.
