the half and half seems so unnecessary to me like….. did they not know what they were ordering
laurenelizabeth022 [OP] 9 points 11m ago
I guess not. But the lady said she comes in all of the time

I mean to be fair brown sugar is half pumps so it’s *only* 11, which is still a lot but still not 22.
laurenelizabeth022 [OP] 9 points 11m ago
Our store actually just recently switched to half pumps. We have been using full pumps the whole time I have worked there
Beg1nAga1n 20 points 11m ago
Toasted vanilla, brown sugar, classic and liquid cane i believe are all supposed to be half pumps
JeromeBaritone 2 points 11m ago
Classic is full pumps not half pumps
Beg1nAga1n 2 points 11m ago
It is half pumps for shaken espressos.
laurenelizabeth022 [OP] -4 points 11m ago
We definitely don’t do it for toasted vanilla
Beg1nAga1n 15 points 11m ago
Shaken espressos get half pumps.

see this I can get behind

My question has always been what is the number of pumps someone can ask for that we say no? Like, sure if they order hundreds or thousands we’d tell them to be reasonable. But what’s the point at which we can start saying that? It’s apparently higher than 22.
lilly260_ 3 points 11m ago
we don’t even have brown sugar rn😪
lilkiosk 2 points 11m ago
All I hear in my head when I read this is “well, they’re half pumps so it’s okay” to quote one of my former green beans when she rang herself up something that looked eerily similar to this
throwawaystarbiegirl 2 points 11m ago
i’ve had someone do this but with 30 pumps🙃
broookeee_ 1 points 11m ago
would taste like drinking out of a maple syrup bottle tbh

Jfc. I like my coffee what most *actual* coffee drinkers would consider “unreasonably sweet” (ie if I got the drink above I would probably order it with 6 ristretto shots and 8 brown sugar (8 full pumps, or equivalent half pumps) 4 vanilla - strong, but very sweet).

This is just excessive…

At first I’d question the decision of the amount when I used to work at Starbucks, however I noticed that a lot of these type of orders started showing up when Covid came. So there’s a chance that some of these customers still can’t really taste much yet.
