Nah, mine just schedules folks outside of their availability because she "doesn't check the partner portal for them and only accepts paper ones." Not that she told any of us that, but of course, you still have to get that full week covered.

Doesn’t the system alert the manager when they schedule outside of a persons availability. That’s what I have been told my shifts.

my manager would continuously schedule me when i had school and would say it was my responsibility to find coverage like my availability request wasn’t approved months ago

This is something that you can report to the DM or to the partner contact center. SM’s definitely should not act like that
