Void Mobile Orders? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I've only been a SSV for a few months now, so I'm not sure if there's a way we can void or refund mobile orders without the customer being there. I've ran into an issue a couple times where someone is somehow able to mobile order minutes after we close, but were unable to make the drink because everything's been put away and we don't notice the ticket. Is there a way to void the order from our POS?

Tell your SM. Mobile orders shouldn’t be coming through 15 minutes before the store is supposed to close. Other than coming back for a refund or getting their order at an open store with proof of purchase I don’t know of a way to void mobiles.

It usually happens on days we close early and our SM forgets to turn them off or has it set for the wrong time. It sucks though because most times the customer either never come back or never brings it up, so I can't approach them about it :(

I was told the customer has to get a refund through the app. We can’t do it on our end and they can on their app.
