Overtime/Scheduling Question (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by corporal_shorty
My SM just scheduled another shift and I (also a shift) for 44 hours without asking/telling either of us. Just wondering if this is allowed or if it's just kind of a poopy move by the SM Especially because she didn't tell that I'd be working 6 days that week.

She had said that were short on coverage but she has almost no baristas working at 10 out of the 13 shifts working, including some who have been scheduled outside their availability.

Sorry this got long and also a little bit ranty, I'm just kind of upset that I wasn't asked and I'm basically being forced to work a day I'd normally have off.
