Need help understanding our late policy (self.starbucksbaristas)

Hey everyone In still fairly new going on 5 months and this is my first job, so sorry if I’m over reacting. This month I’ve been late twice and had to call out twice (once sick, the other was a shift I picked up and last minute I couldn’t make it.) Now I’m not sure if I can show up for the shift I picked up today because of outside stuff. I would be an hour late. From all of this would you say I risk being written up or something?

Potentially. If it’s a whole hour, I would start looking for someone to cover that hour - see if someone can stay late or come in early for you
It would likely just be a documented coaching or written warning, but calling and notifying them ahead of time is definitely important too

2 times being late/calling out probably isnt a huge deal for 5 months but an hour late…. Have someone cover you or let they know you could be written up for that
