Should the employees get catastrophe pay if their store is closed down for structural damage? (self.starbucksbaristas)

The baristas affected are told to go work at other stores instead of being paid catastrophe pay. We have 3 other stores in a 10-15 mile radius. Should they be actually getting catastrophe pay instead of going to another store?

i was told by my dm no, its super dumb bc i think our only option being to go to othwr stores is unfair... With how every store is built differently, has everything in different places, how are we expected to be fully helpful when we'll be fumbling to figure out where everyrhing is for the first couple hours of the shift? on short notice against our wills as well? ugh
