How was the transfer process for you? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Hello fellow beans,
I’m currently waiting to hear something regarding my transfer status to a new store… but I keep worrying it won’t go through. My schedule is quite limited due to having a 9-5 job and my manager warned me that other stores might not be interested due to lack of flexibility.
How long did it take for you all? I found a store and we talked, seemed like a good fit and my manager sent the transfer form. But now I’m sitting and waiting.

It only took a few days for me. Keep calling the other store and make sure to talk to their sm

What’s worrying is that I have the SM’s personal cell. I texted him that it was sent and that the original listing expired so I filled out a new app. Nothing!

If you’re able to be borrowed at the other store, pick up shifts there, get to know the team, & communicate in person or on the phone with the store manager there—it should happen quite quickly. Like mine. Mine was immediate despite being on a final warning... I’m very lucky and happy to have a new beginning because I was going to quit tbh if I had to wait fully…
