Did they finally fix the pos, because I don’t want to live through it again tomorrow
CoffeeChesirecat 16 points 11m ago
Yeah, you just have to have to initiate an update on all computers.

Ikr.

It was less stressful with espresso machines broken or the internet down. WILD.

If only it was FRIDAY the 13th....it would match the horrors that went down perfectly
bjorksbutthole 1 points 11m ago
What happened? I didn’t work yesterday so i’m curious
Responsible_Snow7109 4 points 11m ago
The POS system was all screwed. It was so bad. U couldnt even ring in most of the drinks. Example, if someone wanted a centi iced caramel macchiato, we would have to ring it up as a grande latte, click on "add ice" because just hitting "iced" didnt work etc and so on. It was terrible. If u want more examples, definitely look thru both subs for starbucks lol u will see a TON of posts about it. It was horror. It was like that for almost all the drinks where an error type message would show if u clicked on most of the menu item drinks. It was saturday the 13th lol i was saying the horrors would have perfectly matched if it was friday the 13th lol

Bro I honestly thought it was just a my store issue. Had no idea it was multiple stores/all stores. Lmao 🤣
Also, not us losing power for like a whole 3 seconds and not having drive thru for like 30 mins

It was actually my last day. A proper send off for this 262 punching out
mayalynn007 7 points 11m ago
I came home and took a four hour nap to try and forget lol. Absolute shit, and so slammed too with summer traffic in a tourist town.

This was my last day at starbies, too…
prhamm 3 points 11m ago
Oh lord, what happened to you guys??
bjorksbutthole 2 points 11m ago
I’m wondering this too

We survived, but at what cost?
CoffeeChesirecat 1 points 11m ago
At the cost of the Siren's profits, not ours.

They called me that day to come in but it was my day off and I told them I couldn’t. (I could have I just didn’t want to) I’m thankful that I’m learning how to say “no” now because I wouldn’t have wanted to have dealt with that.

I didn’t survive.

i'm confused. i worked yesterday (the 13th) and closed. the shift was fine except that the POS system was just a little off the fritz. what happened?
francescugh [OP] 1 points 11m ago
well the issue was resolved midday yesterday but i opened @4am and it got overwhelming when the entirety of my shift the issue was ongoing.
ConductorMeaty 1 points 11m ago
sounds rough man. but hey it's just coffee, and you're alive. all that matters
zzsand 1 points 11m ago
So lucky to have had the day off. Seemed like a nightmare. Good job everyone.
Beneficial_Ad_7044 1 points 11m ago
Yeah it was not fun. I wasn’t there when the pos went down but I had to close and none of the mid day tasks were done because my store had the pos problem, had to call the cops on someone, had to get a paramedic for a guest. So we were so late getting out for closing and I’m tired af now
