Was it an office order? People do this to us all the time, we’re in between like 3 or 4 large office buildings. They come in with their own drink carriers 5 minutes after they place it. Absolutely ruins our baristas mood:(

Labor hours! Haha! Y'all still fall for that shit? A store needs to be adequately staffed for the business levels it receives. Baristas are being brainwashed that they have to earn that labor, while still doing the jobs of several baristas. Pretty nonsensical! Who's buying it anymore?

May i ask what’s the point of pulling the stickers in advance? It really bothers me when my coworkers do this and i end up helping make them because they get flustered looking at the stickers.

Sometimes people pull them to try to do things together. For example, if there’s two salted caramel cream cold brews, if you know there’s two of them in the lineup you can make a double batch instead of taking a little extra time to do two separate batches. Things like that.

If I’m on bar I pull so I can plan my sequencing. If someone’s stocking and near me while I’m getting close to the end of what I’ve pulled I’ll get them to pull more if there’s any

I always pull a bunch of stickers at once so I can sequence everything properly. If I do drinks alone one at a time, I would be so much slower. Maybe they're all hot lattes, but then I can still get my cups and syrups together in order and keep my pace going.

Although I do understand the frustration of partners pulling all your stickers and getting flustered. You pull all the stickers when you know how to sequence correctly. Otherwise, just stick to doing it one at a time lol

i like to pull them so that i can sequence more efficiently. inexperienced partners do get very bogged down, though! i tell my green beans to just take it 2 at a time, no need to pull and look at everything at once.

Stickering your machine will slow you down , sticker the cups and line them up , it will set you up for success and help you sequence more accurately. I have faith in you ( don’t sticker more than 4 cups at a time )

My store is near several wedding venus and vacation spots, plus a huge sports complex, so we get 10-15 of these each Fri-Sat-Sun and usually during peak. Last week someone mobile ordered 10 travelers and 30 pastries. 🥲

This is literally my store every day, every shift. We have all 5 channels (cafe, drive, mobile, curbside, delivery) and we get back to back orders like this all the time. Our AM ssv always yells at us for not having a “bigger sense of urgency” while we’re busting through orders like this all the live long day.

My morning started with 3 grande iced matcha, almond milk, vsscf, 1 pump chai, one pump bsg, one venti mdfl, one venti strawberry lemonade, 2 tall caramel frappes, a tall iced triple espresso with … syrup I don’t remember vsscf, a venti pink drink with sccf a venti brown sugar oat vsccf& double smoke a sausage egg and cheddar and a banana loaf

Almost 80$ of Starbucks… the girls were barely 17ish maybe driving a brand new jeep wagon … they got mad when I asked them to pull around too … my life.

I know thats possible but i guess the store i work at is small enough so that we never do that but i personally wouldnt enjoy cold bar drinks printing out at hot bar

Lol.. We just got a cold bar printer. It's nice to have but it's only turned on when we have a dedicated cold bar person and we only get one of those during peak when everyone actually shows up. Otherwise it's just our two bar printers.. Bar 1 (cafe) and Bar 2 (mobile, curbside, and delivery).

I'll be honest, I REALLY HATE when they 'forget' to turn off the cold bar printer because 'someone' has decided we no longer need cold bar support for whatever reason and we're still busy and don't realize right away that we have stickers waiting behind us. 🤦 Ugh

my store has a food printer and a printer on hot bar that prints everythingggg else (including delivery orders). It's super frustrating when we're busy and have to pull out 6 food item uber eats stickers to get to actual drinks.

My first store was pretty high volume and we only had a drive bar printer and a cafe/mobile printer. I've never worked at a store with a cold bar printer lol

Idk bout yall but my store has 4 printers in total. One for warming, one for the main (two) espresso bars, one for the cold bar, and one for another espresso bar thay we dont use because its too far out of reach from the other bars.

The reason (that i can think of) of why my store has a dedicated cold bar sticker printer is probably because cold bar and hot bar arent in the same section of the store(?) Like if hot bar was facing the cafe, cold bar would be facing away from the cafe and is tucked into the corner of our store (and its right next to our backroom door making it a little bit of a crowded spot cuz ppl always needa pass thru) so if youre on solo bar like i was the other day, you would be making 180 turns and sideways jumping to get cold bar stickers after being on hot bar.

Im glad my store did that tho because my if im on hot bar and cold bar stickers print out i would literally pause and stagger because like "what kind of latte is a vancrm cb?" 😭😭

there were some pretty hefty mods on some of them. I had to cover my store #.
But it got done pretty fast!
