tailoring apron…? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by maybeintheblacklight
i work at a target starbucks rn. is it a stupid idea / would it be against policy to modify my apron a little? i know people have their names embroidered on aprons sometimes. i get a lot of neck pain and the halter top of the apron does not help. i was thinking about taking mine apart and sewing it into a crossback instead. thoughts?

SSV here, as far as I'm aware it's not against Sbux's policy. We have quite a few baristas who do customizations like that, one of our super crafty baristas sewed on bigger pockets with a really cute design and some buttons. As long as it doesn't interfere with your work, I think you should be fine

that shouldn’t be a big deal at all. if you leave just the top strings and sew two loops on the sides, you can make it into a cross back pretty easily :D
