The dome lids are evil.

These damn dome lids will be the death of me

Our tall dome lids go right on but our grande/venti dome lids are impossible and will literally hold up the line because we can't get them on 🥲

I work in Southern California and recently transferred stores. The store I worked at prior to transferring we were having trouble with the tall dome lids. The new store I work at which is in a different city, county and district- we were also having trouble with the tall dome lids. No doubt every Starbucks nationwide is experiencing the same thing.

Bro I accidentally crushed a iced white mocha cause the lid didn’t fit right

I had those happen with venti cups last week. I actually had one of the cups literally split down the side and was lucky enough to catch it before it spilled all over the floor and tossed it in the sink. The quality control is basically nonexistent lol

Fr. I had a costumer who saw me struggling with those dome lids for at least 5 minutes until she told me it was okay to just hand her her drink without it 🥲

I remember last summer at my store we had a process for putting grande venti dome lids on. You had to start on one side and gradually apply pressure in the right way for it to go on otherwise it would just keep coming off like a fitted sheet that doesn’t actually fit. After a few shipments of different grande cups and lids they finally fit again.

for the compostable cups, pull your shots into the shot glasses and make sure you add your syrups or some milk before adding the shots to the cup. the standard for them is on store resources on the ipads.

You guys have tall cups?
