we got a new GM a few months ago and at first, I thought everyone just missed our old GM and was reluctant to accept change. I started to warm up to her and kinda forgot about how I felt before. She's a lot more "corporate" in the sense that she will defend anything and everything that the company does. She's really hard on us about doing things by the book, but rarely comes on the floor to help and usually makes our jobs harder should she actually come out.

I recently found out (along with everyone else at the store) that shes been saying awful things about our shift managers (who we all adore) and other baristas. She also has openly admitted to lying. She makes herself cry on command when she wants the attention diverted to her. No one can trust her and we all want her gone.

I heard that shes under investigation and I know our DM knows, but it feels like its taking forever. I hate going to work knowing she'll be there. I try my best to avoid her but she acts like she did nothing wrong. She's the type to fire us, too. She already drove one shift to quit, which she openly admitted to doing. But I love everyone else I work with. We just want her gone.
