Regarding a toxic SSV and SM

What is likely to happen if 8+ baristas and 2 other SSV call HR about these two creating a toxic and uncomfortable workplace?

They are awful. It’s been a crazy six months with these two and we’re finally coming forward about how they do not Live the mission and values of the siren. They say they are direct people, but use that as an excuse to bully other partners. We’ve had multiple people quit because of their actions and words and how they approach people and it’s gotten to the point where we finally are speaking up.

:- Not creating a 3rd place environment, bullying partners (even the younger ones), unsupportive in their leadership roles, forced people to come in while they’re sick, belittles other SSV’s who are running there scheduled keyholder position, etc…

Get anything you can in writing. If any text messages from these people need to be saved, screen shot and put them in a folder on a flash drive or something. Start writing a list of everything they have done that you feel needs to be addressed from a party outside of the store. I’d recommend everyone in this situation do this! HR might want to talk to the partners who left because of these people. I’d start doing this soon as writing this all down is very difficult for some situations and I would recommend using Lyra during these days. Take your time writing these as it can be stressful and not helpful to your health. I’d recommend your whole store tries something similar and keep a journal specifically for your shifts. After every shift I write down anything significant that happened and who I saw and worked with. Anyone training? Any new customers to keep note of? Your opinion on new drinks or anything frustrating you should be documented. Mind you this is ment to be evidence so don’t say anything you don’t want to say in court.

When u call, make sure the whole store is calling. If ure just calling, only u will get in trouble and potentially fired. This happened to me years ago. The sm who fired me eventually got fired for her antics but she messed up so many peoples lives. So I suggest to u to gang up on reporting them. And also be anon.

The investigation will take about a month but they will take action. Once I involved ethics in issues at my store it got resolved significantly faster
