Do none of your coworkers clean up after themselves either? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Disney_Dude1998
I work at a fairly new location and we have nice white granite countertops similar to the ones I have at home. I was raised in a house where you clean up after yourself so it bugs me to no end when the counters at work are covered with fruit inclusions or cookie pieces or covered with water. What makes it worse is that stupid little canal in the edge of the counter that prevents me from sweeping crumbs into the garbage. I want the store to be clean for customers but I can’t be the only one whipping down things and sweeping. Just today I went to clean the little silver ledge outside the drive through and the wipe was black after I was done. I’ve even had to clean up dead flys off the merch table…….should I have a conversation with my manager?

Bro I obsessively clean up after others most of the time and almost always clean my space. I have never yet forgotten to wipe down the steamer wand, clean steaming cups or shakers.

I am confidently the least messiest partner at my store..and I LITERALLY every shift have this one shift that tells me to clean up, or freaking other partners which is 110% hypocritical but I relate with this post on. A spiritual level. 🤡

And don’t you just love when you’re the only one cleaning and your shift supervisor says “you gotta find something to do” like I’m the only one doin a damn thing BITCH!

I swear they do it to those of us that actually always keep busy and when he have .5 seconds of think time for a new take we get "reMiNDeD"

Some people are just like that. They need to be coached. And when u tell them, they get offended

I'm pretty sure my coworkers are allergic to throwing away empty boxes, nevermind breaking them down.
dnims24 3 points 10m ago
Omg it is so annoying when I’m asked to do a trash run and my shift never breaks down her boxes from the order
StephStan 2 points 10m ago
It drives me absolutely crazy!

Lol this one specific coworker of mine will be on register and I will be on bar and if somebody at the register orders a hot coffee with cream or milk in it, she'll come over to the bar and grab the cream out of the fridge and pour it into the customers coffee and then she'll just walk back over to the register and leave the cream with the lid off of it just sitting on my bar counter

Yes.

At that point, you got to do petty revenges to them

I clean up everywhere. My anxiety gets set off if my workspace is dirty
