Barista trainer issues. Does my boss hate me now? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I became a trainer about a month ago. I trained one person so far and the other didn’t take the job. I just found out someone who didn’t even sign up to do this has TWO trainees next week and me? Nothing. Everyone complements how well I did with my trainee. So what’s the issue here? Does my boss think I did a shit job? Does she hate me now because my mental health isn’t that great cos I’m effin homeless and had to call out a few times for a mental health day? Like I don’t understand :(

You should talk to your boss directly and ask about the situation. No one here can know what your boss is thinking.

Some of it can be availability, maybe your availability doesn’t line up with the trainees enough (even if there are one or two overlapping shifts)

There are lots of reasons for that assignment that may have nothing to do with you or your recent performances as a barista or barista trainer.
I’ve been assigned green beans because we have something in common, like learning disability or previous employment background!
Please, ask your Manager. Hopefully, their decisions will have everything to do with ensuring that particular green bean’s success.
