It’s automatically shut off 30 min before close. Your store hours are wrong in the system and need to be updated

Store manager needs to do it in IMS. There is a secret way though. Find out which POS processes the mobile orders and shut it down. Usually closest one to the bar.

That’s what I wondered, if my store was unique in automatically shutting down mobiles 30 minutes prior to close. We did just change our hours so I wondered if that was maybe why, if OP’s store also recently changed.

Did you hours recently change? Had that happen, luckily we got an order 3 minutes after they were supposed to shut off and were able to email and get them off.

I hope ur coworkers didn’t make them then. One time someone order a moderately modified drink. Came late after closing and I alrdy dump it out. I ain’t remaking it, because i also started cleaning. We told them to go to another Starbucks close to us (nyc) that is still open or get a refund through customer service.

this happened, we got 3 separate mobiles and we closed early. manager forgot to turn them off. we had people calling and banging on the doors/ windows trying to get us to unlock for them. calmly explained they’d have to come back tomorrow to get their drinks

I think the issue is that the order was placed 1 minute before the store was supposed to close which means they have to keep the store open for the customer to pick it up.

Also what I was thinking. And like since this is a mobile order it’s not really the customers fault if they didn’t have mobile ordering turned off early as they should have 🤷🏻‍♀️
