Hardest at our drive through/cafe store that offers Uber eats delivery, has to be cafe bar. 3 channels of orders coming through

This, plus you have a lot of those people (cafe, some mobile customers, and Uber eats drivers) staring you down as you try and juggle the sequencing of all those different people & at least at my store also packaging up the Uber orders. It’s the WORST and of course I always end up there on Fridays when it’s chaotic AF and I’m not a fast bar partner. (I love bar, just aware enough to know I’m not fast).

Thankfully we have our front register partner bag up deliveries but yes.. the partner has to tell everyone where there order is because everybody absolutely HAS to know. Customers, you have a mobile app that tells you an estimated time for pick up just follow it.

If we’re not busy front/warming or cold bar will also help with bagging orders, but so often if I’m on that bar I end up trying to get to a point where I at least have cafe orders done, then bag up deliveries and try and get back to mobiles before more cafes come in.

This! I struggled so hard today with people staring me down while juggling heavy loads of mobile while my whole city comes inside to “the best Starbucks in town🥸🥸🥸”(…whatever that means😅)like AHHHH😩why does my store have to be put on a main road 🥹🥹🥹

Hardest is probably a tie for cafe/mobile or cold bar. My store is near a college (it’s quite literally 2 streets away from us, turn left instead of going straight out of the parking lot and you’ll be in the “frat/sorority house neighborhood”), a high school and a middle school. Orders are non stop. Drive thru is also nonstop but you don’t have to worry about cafe, mobile and deliveries. Cold bar has to worry about those 3 plus drive thru, so…

I used to love drive bar when we had the old machines and we had 3 of em!! When we got the new ones everything had to move around bc they took one of our machines now it’s stressful and I feel like I’m always in the way now
