i disagree with the whole pulling stickers and putting it on the bar thing entirely. pull 2-4 stickers max and put them on cups. sequence them. you will overwhelm yourself, it’s not worth it. i have been meaning to coach the newer baristas on this bc it hurts my heart everytime i see them on cafe/mobile with 10 stickers on their machine 😢 like yeah i’ll steal 5 of them to help you but don’t pull them in the first place!!!

This is definitely subjective. Some may get overwhelmed. But having cups lined up on my bar where my elbow, moving an inch out of place, will knock them all over and result in disarray. . .ya that's overwhelming and makes me have anxiety 😂 but never have I pulled 10 stickers at once unless I have three other partners baring with me, that's a lot to even fit across the machine 😅

no!! not cups lined up. like don’t pull and put stickers on more than 2-3 cups. 2 at most if you’re new so you can sequence.

literallg gives me anxiety when i see like 20 stickers pulled on mobile and then customers start showing up and the person on mobile hasn’t even started their drinks

* my old store would keep cinnamon & dolce (and pumpkin or other seasonal toppings) on top of the bar. we were told that even putting a stack of hot lids damages the mastrena—so how is this store getting away with a whole sticker machine?? unless my old SM lied to us lmao

talked to the ppl who do machine maintenance, they said stickers and the cinnamon shakers are fine, but caramel drizzle and whipped cream become hazards

My store post mad things on the bar, it’s still fine.

I am more worried about what the constant baking is going to do to that printer.
That being said the reason you are not supposed to put things on top is because spills will get inside and damage the machine. This goes for both liquids and fine powders. Weight should be fine though

Not sure if Mastrena II have this problem, but magnets always mess with my stores Mastrena I’s, to the point where we couldn’t put a metal syrup stand inbetween them
