are we able to use accrued sick time for mental health reasons? I was told we aren’t allowed to use sick time to cover a shift for mental health reasons unless you have an appointment with a therapist…

Yes you can. Mental health days are what they are. I’m assuming they’re a standard but it may just be my SM tbh haha. But as far as I’m aware yes you can take a mental health day.

I wrote sick time in the book for my shift that I had called off for and my SM told me I cant use sick time for a mental health day 🙃
