How does verification for Coffee Master work for licensed stores (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by FuzzyFruitcake
Hi, apologies for making a repetitve question on this sub about Coffee Master but no one in management knows how to proceed with it. (From licensed store here.)

From what people have been saying in the main starbucks sub, I made an account and finished my coffee academy modules online with certifications (all 5 of them, the one 100 module, the one 200 module and the three 300 modules).

I’ve showed it to my ASM and he’s like cool and says he doesn’t know how to order the apron for me. A corporate barista on here said all the ASM or SM had to do was see my certificates and order from the inventory site, but management doesn’t seem to care too much about it.

Is there something you guys can recommend me to persuade the management to just get me the apron? I find it kind of weird that my SM is a coffee master but can’t remember anything about coffee or even make drinks properly but are wishy washy about getting me an apron.

I’m from a corporate store, so i’m not sure it’s the same, but after you finished all the 100-300 modules you’re supposed to apply for the coffee master program and after you’re accepted you have more learning to do, after that i’d show the actual coffee master certificate to your sm and see if they go through with that.
(i literally talked to my sm about this today lol)

Licensed partners don’t have access to the MyLearning thing (and in my case we don’t even have logins to see our pay and hours). I don’t know if there is a link to apply to the coffee master program in the coffee academy but when i signed up, I had to put I’m not a partner cause my employee number doesn’t follow the format they use in Starbucks.
