No. Most of my coworkers are pretty agreeable and our team gets along. I’d say if you feel like you can’t do anything without someone getting offended and ur manager won’t do anything maybe consider transferring if that’s a possible for you

Company has had the hugest staff turnover in Starbucks history and SMs are desperately hiring anyone.
I’m a 7 year partner and after a while i just have to let the pettiness be just who they are and kill them with kindness. You know your doing your job. Also, i try to keep less personal gossip and more Starbucks lingo. If that makes any sense. It keeps me out of conversations that my energy don’t need 🤚

As a newer shift, I’m constantly getting pushback by partners, especially since they’re all dicks who just wanna hang on their phones.
Legit had a barista tell me “I’m your customer support” because a partner called out that they were supposed to be training and God forbid I try to say “actually…” because then it’s like tiptoeing around mental health.
I feel like if you’re CS I shouldn’t have to tell you every little thing I need…nor do I think I should get an eye roll when I ask if the my daily tasks are done and REMIND you that your job as CS is to make sure I’m stocked so I can keep putting drinks out. -.-

Yes they get offended over telling them to "please make sure to read the stickers " when Im sending back drinks on drive thru because they made my drinks wrong for the window for the 3rd time. I try to tell them nicely but they end up being babies anyways and disliking me so lose-lose no matter what.

Same. I’ve been working here for 4 years, 80% of our team is new (0-8 months) including 2 supervisors. They feel like I’m a ‘know it all’ and that I don’t listen to them, when in fact, I trained them, I know how the store works, I know the recipes and when I see someone fuck up, I WIL say something about it.

I feel like mine never get off their phones.
