I’m sure they are all very different but I managed a licensed store for 2.5 years and it was a waste of time. You don’t get Starbucks perks, ex. Free drinks on shift, 30% off, awesome benefits, stock grants, rrsp matching, free pound of coffee or box of tea weekly) though some licensed store could very well offer comparable perks, I’d say get into corporate if you can! You also may get more angry customers because they can’t redeem their stars with you guys, and certain types of licensed stores can elect their own prices which also is a common frustration with customers.
